Easy Male Birthday card using Handcarved Background stamp - video

Here is a card I created for my darling husband's birthday recently. It was super easy to do, I had wanted to do something with the gorgeous and funky Handcarved background stamp (wood 134051, clear 134054), and I know my husband is not into vintage trains or ships.

I looked around on Pinterest, and there aren't many ideas for using this stamp, so I decided to go "Clean and Simple". I know many people struggle with coming up with ideas for male birthday cards, so I hope this easy one gives you some inspiration. You could always add a number for an age-themed card, or a couple of brads or candy dots.

Anyway, I filmed a video of me making it, showing just how easy it is.

Stained Glass Butterfly Birthay Card - Video

I've just uploaded a video to YouTube showing how I made this birthday card using one of the gorgeous Butterflies Thinlits dies.

Stained Glass Butterflies Thinlits Dies birthday card

I used the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper, which you can get for FREE with an order over $90 during Sale-A-Bration, which is on now until March 31.

This card was heavily inspired by one created by Ceal Pritchet. I changed the angle of the butterfly and made it pop out of the cutout panel.
