Tropical Wreath cards with Stamparatus technique video

Hi there,

Thanks for stopping by. Today I'd like to share a couple of cards using the Tropical Chic stamp set, and a cool technique using the Stamparatus.

I first saw my friend Jenny demonstrating this idea at the SA Papercraft Fair a few weeks ago, and as we were going to get together the following week for our monthly "shoe box swap", I asked if we could make this as our project.

She showed us the technique, and I created the card shown above. Now my card is slightly different to her original card, as the leaf image on hers didn't have as much stalk showing as mine does. This results in the central wreath being a bit smaller than hers.

I had another go at making this card this morning and filmed it live on my Facebook page. Here is what I came up with:
Do you see the difference? The card base and layers are all the same size, but the central wreath is bigger, and the leaf images are closer in the corners.

You may also notice that the greeting is different. For the previous card I made we used the greeting from Wishing You Well, which is in the Holiday catalogue. As I don't have that set on hand, I used one of the greetings in the Tropical Chic stamp set, and therefore had to make a bigger label.
