Hi,

Thanks for stopping by my blog today for another blog hop with Stampin’ Up Demonstrators from around the world who are part of Kylie’s Demonstrator Training group.

Here’s my card:

Making Christmas Bright - Tina's Creative Studio

My card is the one I created for my Aussie Crafters Team challenge for June – we were to create a card using this colour combination:

My first thought was red and green = Christmas, so I decided to use the Making Christmas Bright stamp set to create a Christmas card. I know Lovely Lipstick is a slightly pinky red, but I thought it could be a Christmas colour, don’t you?

I used the versatile Buffalo Check stamp with Lovely Lipstick ink on the same colour cardstock to create the background piece. I used one of the Stitched Nested Labels dies to cut a label from Whisper White cardstock. I then stamped the images on the label in Granny Apple Green and Pool Party, and the bulb images on scraps of Whisper White in all three colours. These I then punched out using the Christmas bulb punch, and mounted them with Dimensionals on the card. The label is also raised on the card front with Dimensionals.

I’m happy with the way this turned out, and will be using this as one of my cards in my upcoming Christmas in July card classes.

So now it’s time to hop around the blogs of everyone in the blog hop, so grab a cuppa and have a look around to see what everyone has come up with.

Here’s a list of the supplies used to make the card. If you need anything, just click on the image to go straight to my online shop.
