Painted Poppies class projects

Painted Poppies class www.tinascreativestudio.com

Hi!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

I run craft classes in my studio on Mondays at 10am, Thursdays at 1.30pm and Saturdays at 2pm, every second week.

This week we will be making 2 cards and a gift bag using the Painted Poppies bundle plus a few other items from the Peaceful Poppies suite from Stampin' Up!

For the first card I created the background with our sponge brayers and flicked on water to create the splatter effect. You can't see in the photo, but I used Wink of Stella on the poppies and also a little Shimmery Crystal Effects.

For the second card I used one of the gorgeous sheets of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper on the card front and used one of the dies to cut out the wreath. Another of the dies was used to cut the white decorative circle for the sentiment.

For both cards I created an insert panel with Whisper White cardstock and stamped one of the poppy images in the corner to finish it off.

For the third project I was inspired by a presentation at the Stampin' Up convention in Sydney in November, where the presenter (I forgot to write her name, sorry) made a box in a bag. Mine is a bit different in that I added the birthday sentiment on another die cut label. This uses one half of another sheet from the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies Designer Series paper. You can make 2 of these from one sheet.

If you are local to me at Park Holme, South Australia, you might like to check to see if I have any spots left in one of my classes this week.

If you'd like to make these projects yourself and need some supplies, here are the supplies I used:
