Christmas Cards featuring the In The Pines stamp set and die bundle from Stampin' Up!

In the Pines card class cards
Hi,

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Here are the cards from my latest class held in my studio. I was inspired by UK Stampin' Up Demonstrators Barry and Jay for 2 of the cards.

Here is the first card

There is quite a bit of sponging on the central panel, I used Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy to create the colours on a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock. The long strip on the side is a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock that has been embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder, then lightly sponged with Memento black on the raised areas.

A bit of ribbon, twine and Iridescent Pearls finish off the card.

For the second card

I used my favourite Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder for the background, embossing a piece of Whisper White first in the folder, then sponging Gorgeous Grape and Balmy Blue ink on the embossed areas. The white tree is from the die set in the bundle, and the greeting is from Itty Bitty Christmas.

Here is the third card

On the Shaded Spruce card front I stamped the dotty image in Versamark ink all around the edges to give a bit of texture to the plain colour. The central white piece has been embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, and matted onto black. The trees are stamped using Shaded Spruce and Garden Green ink, and the trunks coloured in using a Soft Suede marker. I die cut 3 of the trees in Vellum cardstock and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A few rhinestones and a linen bow finish off the card.

Everyone enjoyed making these cards, learning different sponging techniques.

Here is a list of supplies I used to make these cards. If you need any of these then just click on the image to go to my online shop.
