3D Christmas Gift for Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Stamping with Friends blog hop
Hi,

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

It's time for another Stamping with Friends Blog Hop, and the theme for this one is 3D Christmas Gift.

Here's what I made.

Triangular Treat Box

I was inspired to make this box after seeing several made by my Demonstrator friend Kylie Allison, who displayed them at our stall at a local craft fair recently. Hers used different paper and a different sentiment and closure.

She was inspired by Julie, The Paper Pixie, who was inspired by another Demonstrator in the UK. It's lovely how ideas get shared around the internet!

I didn't have any mini magnets for the closures of my boxes so I decided to use the bits left over from cutting out the box design to make a belly band.

I used the same measurements as on Julie's box, but I omitted the paper on the side panels. I can get one box out of a sheet of A4 cardstock.

I used Sahara Sand cardstock for the box and decorated it with Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink, and used the Label Me Lovely punch to punch out the sentiment. I added a Red Rhinestone for some bling.

I'm really happy with the way they turned out, I made some for my team meeting.
